I9 Verifications by a Notary Public in
Palm Bay, FL

What You Need for Your In-Person I-9 Verification Appointment with a Notary Public
Preparing properly for your in-person I-9 verification appointment is essential to ensure a smooth and compliant process. To avoid delays or cancellation, please review the information below and arrive fully prepared with all required documentation.
I-9 Forms Cannot Be Completed Online
Under federal law, I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Forms must be completed in person. These forms cannot be notarized online, completed via Remote Online Notarization (RON), or verified through a virtual session unless your employer participates in an approved DHS remote examination program.
All identity documents must be physically examined by an authorized representative, which is why an in-person appointment with a Notary Public or authorized agent is required.
Read the I-9 Form Before Your Appointment
Before your scheduled meeting, carefully review the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification Form. Understanding the requirements ahead of time ensures that you bring the correct identification and meet federal compliance standards.
Have Your Required Identification Ready
You must have acceptable, unexpired identification documents ready for inspection at the appointment.
The Notary Public must physically inspect your original identification documents—photocopies, screenshots, scans, or digital versions are not acceptable.
If your employer requires copies of your IDs to be submitted with the completed form, you must make your color copies before the appointment. The Notary can initial these copies if requested but preparing them in advance is your responsibility.
Be Prepared and On Time
Your Notary’s time for your I-9 verification appointment is reserved exclusively for you. Please be respectful by being ready at the scheduled time with your documents in hand.
We allow a 15-minute grace period upon the Notary’s arrival. If you are unprepared, unable to provide acceptable identification, or not present within this timeframe, the appointment may be canceled.
All missed or canceled appointments are non-refundable, as noted in our service policy.

A core principle of the Hague Convention is that all Contracting Parties are required to recognize a validly issued Apostille. When an e-Apostille is properly issued in the State of origin, it carries the same legal effect as a traditional paper Apostille and must be accepted as such by other Contracting Parties. This ensures there is no suggestion that an e-Apostille is in any way less valid or inferior to a paper version.
